I’m Whittney Richardson Telesford, a business attorney and the founder of Richardson Business Law. My practice is dedicated to helping purpose-driven entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners navigate contracts and legal strategy with clarity and confidence.

I began my journey with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Georgia Southern University, where I competed in moot court and became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I earned my law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, where I served as an associate editor of the Law Review and worked as a teaching assistant for federal income taxation.

My legal career started at Fidelity National Financial in Omaha, Nebraska, where I served as Associate Counsel. I managed purchase and sale transactions for insured owners, REITs, and institutional lenders. I also handled litigation claims and coordinated with outside counsel through trials and mediations.

I went on to work as a finance associate at Kutak Rock LLP in Omaha. There, I represented financial institutions in commercial lending transactions and advised clients on compliance in multiple jurisdictions. I also counseled private equity funds and investors involved in low-income housing tax credit transactions.

In 2025, I launched Richardson Business Law to offer personalized legal support to the clients I care most about. My goal is to make the law feel clear, accessible, and aligned with your values.

I’m originally from Senatobia, Mississippi and moved to Omaha nearly ten years ago after graduating from law school. When I’m not working, I enjoy listening to music, trying new skincare products, and binge-watching Netflix shows with a good snack nearby.
